Sarah Dunn

Client Manager

Currently on maternity leave, Sarah is a Client Manager for the Hospitality, Property and Retail team. She qualified ACA with top 20 firm MacIntyre Hudson and has a wide range of experience. She has worked in accountancy for over 10 years, working with accounts production, corporation tax, VAT, audit, charities, solicitors accounts rules, academy schools, independent examinations, bookkeeping and personal tax.

She left school as an A star student and was going to go to university to study history with hispanic studies including a year out in South America but as she wasn’t sure what she would do as a career at the end of this she took a year out to see what would interest her; she got a job in an office whose internal bookkeeper left overnight, she took over the task self taught and enjoyed it so much she put herself through an Accounts Technician Diploma with Pitmans on the weekends, after completing this with a distinction she applied to local accountancy firms. She got a job and passed all 15 accountancy exams on the first attempt.

She joined Dynamix in January 2019 as she wanted to work at a smaller firm where she was able to help clients throughout the year and get to know their businesses rather than just meeting the regulatory requirements for them. Her team specialises in startups, trades and white collar workers.

She likes cowboys, country music, Cornwall, tractors and Belgian beers.
